What Glow collects
- Ratings and wait times you post. These are anonymous: your phone gets a random ID so you can't rate the same display twice.
- Your location, only when you tap "Use my location" or check in for the Family Hunt. It's used in that moment to sort displays or confirm you're at a display. Glow doesn't store your location.
- Family Hunt photos are sent to an AI service to check the find, then discarded. Glow keeps only whether the photo was approved.
- Team names and county for the Family Hunt. Leaderboards show team names only. Please don't use children's full names in a team name.
- Display listings: the address and details you submit are shown publicly on the map once approved. Your email is used only to contact you about the listing and is never shown.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Glow never sees or stores your card number.
What Glow doesn't do
- Glow doesn't sell your information or show third-party ads.
- Glow doesn't track you across other websites.
Listing your home
Only list a home you own or have permission to list. If you want your display removed, email us and we'll take it down.
Family Hunt rules
- Passengers only. Never use the app while driving.
- Stay on public sidewalks and streets. Respect private property, posted hours and neighbors.
- Points from check-ins require being at the display. Teams that cheat can be removed without a refund.
- Prizes are donated by sponsors and may change. Winners are contacted through the team's checkout email.
Purchases
Hunt Passes, Spotlight boosts and Featured listings cover the current holiday season. If something goes wrong with a purchase, email us within 14 days and we'll make it right.
